REQUEST A MEETING

The increasing frequency and severity of natural disasters globally presents a growing
demand on the response capacity of governments and aid agencies. There is a pressing need
for a dependable, cost-effective means of delivering significant aid and material in response
to emergencies. AmphiResQ offer an innovative solution in the form Modular Amphibious
Response Vehicles, MARV.
MARV are vehicles converted from widely available donor chassis types to provide a
versatile platform for a number response and relief solutions in variety of environments.
These include mobile clinics, water production units, general logistical movement, high-
capacity dewatering applications and helicopter refuelling stations to name but a few. They
will be able to assist coastal, riverine and island communities particularly at risk to natural
disasters, able to be configured and rapidly re-configured in modular fashion to
accommodate a range of response needs. Inland communities affected by flooding for
example are also able to be reached where bridges and roads are compromised.
Flexibility in deployment to response locations can also be enhanced by either military or
commercial shipping. Vehicles can be launched at sea from standoff vessels and land ashore
without need of port or harbour infrastructure. This will provide a vital and timely interface
for relief material transported by support vessels offshore and end use locations inland. Air
delivery is also possible where time is critical. Units can also be produced to assist with
urban flooding, being able to operate in congested areas with crane and basket equipment
to reach those stranded on roofs or above ground floor accommodation. Using up to date,
technically supported and safety compliant vehicle options allows a large degree of regional
self-reliance. This also allows improved reliability, safety and a considerable reduction in
parts and servicing costs.
AmphiResQ also aim to provide a comprehensive training package for vehicle crews to
ensure regional response teams are fully adept in all aspects of vehicle relief operations on
land and water.
